ROAS as a KPI for new keyword ideas

Should I use ROAS as one of the parameters while I take a decision to add a search term as a keyword to my account? What would be the best metric to consider and why?

  • ROAS is used as one of the parameters to keep in mind while deciding the bids for the keywords and I think it will be a better idea for the newly added search terms (later keywords) to first perform on the networks. Once these search terms perform as keywords, it will be a good idea to improve their bids to grab more conversions.

    While adding search terms to your account, you can consider using impressions and conversions metric. This selection can help you add search terms which have converted on receiving impressions. So, if you add converting search terms to your account, it can help you get quality traffic.
