What is Sidekick?

Optmyzr Sidekick is your built-in AI assistant that helps you work smarter inside the platform. It’s powered by a mix of generative AI and Optmyzr’s own machine learning, so it can explain how tools work, point out what’s worth improving, and summarize key insights from your data, all while you stay in your workflow.


So what’s new in Sidekick 5.0?

Sidekick 5.0 takes everything our users love about the original version and makes it a lot more useful.

 

Here’s what’s new:

1. Sidekick 5.0 is available across your tools

You’ll now find Sidekick inside tools like Budget Pacing, Rule Engine, Campaign Groups, and Reports. If you’re working within an account, look for the Sidekick icon in the top-right corner of your screen. That’s your shortcut to quick answers, walkthroughs, and guidance without leaving the page.

📝Quick Note: Sidekick is available in all major account-level tools, and we’re continuing to expand its reach. The only place you won’t see it yet is the All Accounts Dashboard, since it’s not tied to a specific account view.

 

2. Your chat stays with you during your session

When you move from one tool to another, your Sidekick chat stays open. That means you can continue your conversation without retyping your question or losing context.

3. Built-in walkthroughs to help you learn faster

If you’re using a tool for the first time (or just want a refresher), ask Sidekick something like “Walk me through this tool.” It will guide you step by step in the interface, so you learn by doing instead of hunting through docs.

4. Context-aware answers that adapt to where you are

Sidekick understands which part of Optmyzr you’re using and adjusts its answers accordingly. If you’re reviewing a report, it can summarize key trends.
