Design Intern

Our Ideal Candidate
  • •Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • •Strong fundamentals in typography, color, layout, and composition.
  • •Demonstrated interest in AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar.
  • •Excited to learn AI-assisted coding (“vibe coding”) and build working prototypes.
  • •Portfolio or academic projects showcasing design thinking and problem-solving.
  • •Curious, self-driven learner comfortable with experimentation and ambiguity.
  • •Good communication skills and a positive, growth-oriented mindset.
  • •Ability to commit to a 6-month internship.
  • •Good to have experience with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools
  • •Good to have creative personal projects using AI tools.
  • •Good to have basic HTML/CSS or coding bootcamp experience.
  • •Good to have familiarity with Framer, Webflow, or no-code tools.
  • •Good to have active participation in design communities (Dribbble, Behance, Twitter/X).
Responsibilities
  • •Create wireframes, mockups, and design assets using Figma.
  • •Use AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, and design iteration.
  • •Generate design variations using prompt engineering.
  • •Evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs using design principles.
  • •Develop interactive prototypes using HTML/CSS/JavaScript with AI coding assistants.
  • •Use tools like Cursor, Copilot, Bolt.new, or v0.dev to convert designs into working demos.
  • •Work on assigned design tasks such as marketing graphics, social media visuals, and UI components.
  • •Modify AI-generated code to match design intent.
  • •Create prototypes that test real interactions and inform product decisions.
  • •Design marketing visuals, social media assets, and creative materials.
  • •Maintain design documentation and component libraries.
  • •Assist with user research and synthesize findings.
  • •Document and share learnings around AI tools and workflows.
