About the customer

Searchperts is a Google Ads agency based in Düsseldorf, Germany, with a strong focus on e-commerce brands and online shops.

The agency works with clients managing significant Google Ads budgets and has been using Optmyzr for several months.

Before choosing Optmyzr, the team evaluated multiple PPC management platforms alongside the Google Ads scripts they were already using.

What stood out was the breadth of the platform.

“The other tools had a couple of features, and Optmyzr has so much more.”

For Damian, competing solutions often felt like individual point solutions. Optmyzr gave the agency a way to bring more of those workflows together instead.

The challenge: replacing scattered scripts and point solutions with a workflow the team could rely on

Searchperts was already using Google Ads scripts before adopting Optmyzr. But as the agency evaluated how to manage accounts more efficiently, maintaining separate scripts and tools became less attractive.

Scripts could break. Different tools solved different pieces of the workflow. And monitoring multiple client accounts still required the team to move between Google Ads, Merchant Center, Analytics, and other platforms to understand what was happening. That time was better spent elsewhere.

Damian wanted his team working inside accounts, discussing new campaigns and strategies with clients, and finding opportunities to improve performance rather than maintaining scripts or repeatedly assembling data.

The solution

1. Rule Engine catches account problems before they linger

Searchperts uses Rule Engine primarily as a safeguard across client accounts. One of the biggest risks for an agency is broken conversion tracking. A client may change something on a website or URL, and if nobody spots the resulting tracking issue, days or even weeks of useful conversion data can be lost.

The team uses Rule Engine to monitor for periods with no conversions, adjusting the threshold based on each account's normal conversion volume. Larger accounts can trigger alerts sooner, while lower-volume accounts can use longer windows.

"This is the cool part of Optmyzr. You can adjust everything."

The agency also monitors for accounts that suddenly stop spending and receives notifications when that happens. For Performance Max, Searchperts uses Rule Engine to automatically review connected accounts and exclude gaming and kids placements that consume budget without generating conversions.

The result is a monitoring system that can be adapted to the realities of each individual account rather than applying the same thresholds everywhere.

2. Smart Product Labeler helps uncover more opportunities from the product feed

Smart Product Labeler plays two roles for Searchperts: managing existing e-commerce accounts and supporting conversations with prospective clients. Damian uses the product performance summary to quickly understand how a feed is performing, including which products are winners, losers, and products that are spending without creating value.

For existing clients, the team uses those insights to structure Google Ads campaigns around product performance. Damian sees this as especially important because Shopping and Performance Max campaigns can quickly concentrate spend around a relatively small group of products while much of the rest of the feed receives little exposure.

By segmenting products based on performance, Searchperts can give more products an opportunity to prove themselves and potentially uncover new best sellers.

"We use it with all of our clients, and it's very cool for us to have it integrated directly in Optmyzr. So we don't need to switch to another tool, to another solution."

There is a direct cost benefit too. Before using the functionality inside Optmyzr, Searchperts paid roughly €100 per account for a separate solution.

3. Budget tools replace custom scripts with projections and alerts

Budget management was another capability Damian had actively searched for in the market. He had even considered building something himself.

"I thought to build it on my own, but I'm happy I don't need to do it. Optmyzr is there."

Searchperts now uses Optmyzr's Spend Projection, forecasts, and pacing alerts to keep track of whether accounts are underpacing or overpacing. Previously, much of that work depended on scripts maintained separately for each account.

But scripts break, and maintaining them creates work that Damian does not see as the best use of his team's time. With the budgeting workflow in Optmyzr, the team can spend more of that time inside accounts and in conversations with clients about campaigns, performance, and strategy.

4. One dashboard gives the team more angles on account performance

The value of Optmyzr for Searchperts goes beyond automating individual tasks. Damian points to the amount of PPC information the team can bring together without moving from platform to platform.

The same underlying information may exist elsewhere, but getting the full picture could require checking Google Ads, Merchant Center, Analytics, and other sources individually. In Optmyzr, Damian describes the experience more simply.

"Within Optmyzr, it's one click, one dashboard, you see everything."

That consolidated view gives the team more ways to analyze account performance while reducing the amount of time spent gathering the information first.

One example that stood out to Damian was Optmyzr's Black Friday dashboard, which let the team compare forecast, spend, and run rate with the same point in the previous year on an hourly basis. For a PPC manager working through a high-volume shopping period, he called the experience "mind-blowing."

5. Optmyzr is becoming a bigger part of the agency's tool stack

Today, Google Ads and Optmyzr are the two platforms Searchperts spends most of its time in. The agency still uses some smaller tools, but Damian says the team is gradually trying to phase more of them out and bring those workflows into Optmyzr.

That extends into its AI workflows as well. Searchperts connects agents and AI with Optmyzr and pulls data such as Spend Projection into reporting the agency has built itself. Instead of recreating that functionality internally, the team can use the data and tools already available through Optmyzr.

For Damian, that makes Optmyzr one of the agency's most-used tools outside the Google Ads interface itself.

The results

Searchperts originally went looking for a PPC platform that could do more than the individual tools and scripts in its existing stack. A few months into using Optmyzr, Damian says the team is still discovering additional capabilities it can put to work.

The impact shows up across several parts of the agency's workflow.

Less manual monitoring: Rule Engine watches for conversion, spend, and placement issues across accounts.

More efficient budget management: Spend Projection, forecasts, and pacing alerts reduce the need for account-specific scripts.

Better product-level decisions: Smart Product Labeler helps the team identify product performance patterns and structure campaigns around them.

Lower tool costs: Product labeling functionality inside Optmyzr replaces a separate solution that had cost roughly €100 per account.

More centralized analysis: PPC data and insights that would otherwise be spread across several platforms can be reviewed from one dashboard.

More time for client work: The team can spend less time maintaining scripts and gathering information and more time discussing campaigns, strategy, and new opportunities with clients.

For Damian, those benefits reinforce each other.

"It helps here, saves time here, and also makes us better because we see more data and can provide more value to the account and to the customer."

Parting words

Asked to rate his experience with Optmyzr on a scale of one to ten, Damian didn't hesitate.

"I would give a 10, 100%."

While the breadth of the platform initially attracted Searchperts, Damian says the experience with Optmyzr's customer support has become just as important. From onboarding to ongoing questions about automation and Rule Engine, he values being able to reach the team and get help quickly.

For an agency working to automate more of its PPC operations without losing the human support behind the software, that combination has made the difference.
