Automation in Optmyzr

Automation in Optmyzr is included in the Pro plan and the Pro Plus plan, though the capabilities included will vary for each. 

You can find the details of past and scheduled automations in the Automation Schedules and Automation History pages under the Optimizations tab.


Core Automation (Pro Plan)

The Core Automation package in the Pro Plan includes Report Scheduling and Enhanced Script automation. You can opt to enable automation for Rule Engine and the Shopping Refresher Pro on specific accounts at $49/account/month.

Advanced Automation (Pro Plus plan)

The Advanced Automation package included in the Pro Plus plan gives you access to unlimited automation for all added accounts. This includes Report Scheduling, Enhanced Script automation, Rule Engine, and Shopping Refresher Pro.


Automating a Recipe in the Rule Engine

On the Rule Engine’s main page, you will see a list of all the recipes you’ve created. Press on the recipe's name, and on the options go to Preview Suggestions, where you'll see an overview of the suggested changes, with details for the actions to be taken and which of the rules in the recipe, each item matched.

The setting for the automation will also display the option to request a review from an Optmyzr specialist before it is enabled.


Running the Product Group Refresher (Shopping Refresher Pro) on a Schedule

The Product Group Refresher can be automated to run on a schedule, allowing you to re-sync your feed automatically. The process works the same way; click on the Automate button and you'll see the configuration settings for frequency and campaign selector, among other options. 


Automation Schedules

When you schedule an automation for 12:00 PM, it means that the automation will run after 12:00 PM and not necessarily at 12:00 PM. The running of the scheduled automation depends on the factors like server availability, size of the feed and number of operations in Google Ads queue, and this is why sometimes you can see a lag in the time.

You don't have to worry about the automation as the system keeps checking regularly and if something fails, we are notified.
