Pause Keywords With A Low Quality Score - User Guide

What does it do?

This enhanced script finds keywords that are below a certain Quality Score threshold in AdWords and pauses them. You can also choose to only get a report and not pause the keywords. 

How does it work?

Choose the account you want to run the script in and go to the All Enhanced Scripts page.

You can either create a new setting by selecting 'Create new setting' or 'Copy setting from an existing account'. To create a new setting, follow the steps below:

Script Settings

Setting Name:
Enter the name of the setting. You can multiple settings that can pause keywords that have different Quality Scores. 

For example, you can have one setting for keywords that have a QS of 4 and another for keywords that have a QS of 2.

Pause Keyword Setting:
If you want to pause keywords that are below the specified QS, select this check box. Otherwise, the script will create a report.

Spreadsheet URL:
The report generated by the script can go into an existing spreadsheet. If you have a spreadsheet, enter the URL in this field. 

Otherwise, leave at NEW to generate a new spreadsheet.

Range for date:
Date range for additional metrics that are shown in the report. The Quality Score is for the current date, as AdWords doesn't have historical data.

Minimum Quality Score:
In this field specify the Quality Score threshold below which keywords should be paused.

Email Address:
Email addresses that should receive a notification with the spreadsheet link after the script runs.
