Optmyzr Privacy Policy
Last updated Marh 20, 2026
Thanks for using Optmyzr! We are committed to protecting your privacy and making you more efficient and successful at managing your online advertising. This Privacy Policy governs your use of our websites, software, services, and artificial intelligence (AI) features and capabilities (collectively, “Services”). It explains how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your Personal Data when you use our Services. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our privacy practices and contact us if you have any questions.
What Personal Data We Collect and Why
Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person that can be used to identify or contact a specific person, including information that may indirectly identify you when combined with other data (also referred to as “personal information” under certain U.S. privacy laws). You may be asked to provide Personal Data anytime you are in contact with Optmyzr or an Optmyzr affiliate. Optmyzr and its affiliates may share Personal Data with each other and use it solely in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy. We may also combine Personal Data with other information to provide and improve our products, services, content, and advertising. You are not required to provide Personal Data, but, if you choose not to, we may be unable to provide you with certain products, services or respond to queries.
Here are some types of Personal Data we may collect and how we may use it:
Account information
We collect, and associate with your account, the information you provide to us when you sign up for your account, upgrade to a paid plan, and/or enable two-factor authentication (such as your name, email address, phone number, payment info, and physical address). We also collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage patterns to maintain account security and detect unauthorized access. Some of our Services let you access accounts and information via other service providers.
Your Content
Our Services are designed to make it simple for you to store your online advertising data, goals, targets, contacts, and other materials (“Your Content”), collaborate with others, and work across multiple devices. To make that possible, we store, process, and transmit Your Content as well as related information, such as your profile (which makes it easier to collaborate and share Your Content with others), performance of ads, automation schedules, report recipients, and usage activity. When you use our AI Features, Your Content may include prompts you submit and outputs generated by our AI systems. Our Services provide options for sharing Your Content.
AI and Machine Learning Data
When you use our AI-powered features (“AI Features”), we collect: (a) your inputs, prompts, and queries; (b) AI-generated outputs and recommendations; (c) feedback you provide on AI outputs; (d) interaction patterns with AI Features; and (e) performance metrics of AI recommendations. We use this data to improve our AI systems, personalize your experience, and help ensure accurate and relevant outputs. We don’t make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human involvement. We do not use Customer ad account data to train foundation or general-purpose models unless expressly authorized in writing. We process AI-related data based on our legitimate interests in developing and improving our Services and, where required, your consent. We do not use AI outputs to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Contacts
You may choose to give us details about your contacts to make it easy to share Your Content, send messages, and invite others to use the Services. If you do, we’ll store those contacts on our servers for your use, and implement appropriate safeguards to protect information.
Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable (e.g., EEA/UK/Switzerland), we rely on: (i) performance of contract (to provide the Services); (ii) our legitimate interests (to improve, secure, support, and market our Services); (iii) consent (for certain marketing or optional features; (iv) legal obligations; and (v) vital interests.
For more information on the lawful bases for processing, your data, please see our Privacy FAQ.
Special Categories of Personal Data
We generally do not collect special categories of data (for example, data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, genetic or biometric data, health data, or sexual orientation). If a specific Service requires such data, we will obtain your explicit consent or rely on another lawful basis.
Collection of Non-Personal Data
We also collect data that does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual. We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information for any purpose.
Examples of Analytic Data We Collect
In addition to cookies, we collect certain usage and device information automatically when you use the Services. This may include:
Usage information — such as how you interact with dashboards, reports, and AI-powered features (for example, which recommendations you accept, or how frequently you use automation tools). We use this data to understand engagement, improve model accuracy, and enhance user experience.
Device and network information — such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referral URLs, and language settings.
We use this data to maintain security, optimize performance, and provide localized experiences. We treat this information as Personal Data when it can reasonably identify you under applicable law. Otherwise, we aggregate or de-identify it to analyze trends and improve the Services, including the performance of AI and machine learning systems.
Cookies and other technologies
We use technologies like cookies web beacons, and pixel tags to provide, improve, protect, and promote our Services. For example, cookies help us remember your username for your next visit, understanding how you are interacting with our Services, and improving them based on that information. We classify cookies as “essential” (necessary for core Service functionality) or “non-essential” (used for analytics and marketing). You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through our cookie consent tool or by clicking the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of our site.
We treat information collected by cookies and other technologies as non-personal information. However, where local law treats identifiers such as IP addresses as Personal Data, we apply the same protections described in this Privacy Policy. Similarly, to the extent that non-personal information is combined with Personal Data, we treat the combined data as Personal Data. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, but some essential features of our Services may not function properly. If our systems receive a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar opt-out signal from your browser, we will honor that signal where required by applicable law.
We gather some information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes IP addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (ISP), referring and exit websites and applications, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information to understand and analyze trends, to administer the site, to learn about user behavior on the site, to improve our product and Services, and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. Cookie and analytics data are generally retained only as long as needed to fulfill these purposes.
Cookie and analytics data are retained only as long as necessary for their stated purposes or as required by law, consistent with the retention principles described below.
Optmyzr may use this information in our analytics and marketing tools, including Google Analytics, Intercom, and similar service providers that may process data in the United States. These transfers are protected through Standard Contractual Clauses or, if Optmyzr elects to self-certify, through participation in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
In some of our email messages, we may use a “click-through URL” linked to content on our Services. When users click one of these URLs, they pass through a separate web server before arriving at the destination page. We track this click-through data to help us determine the effectiveness of our customer communications. If you prefer not to be tracked in this way, you should not click text or graphic links in the email messages. Pixel tags enable us to send email messages in a format customers can read, and they tell us whether mail has been opened. We may use this information to reduce or eliminate messages sent to customers.
We sometimes contact people who do not have an Optmyzr account. For recipients in regions that require consent, including the EU, UK, Canada, and certain U.S. states, we or our partners will obtain consent before contacting you. If you receive an email and no longer wish to be contacted by us, you can unsubscribe or update your preferences at any time through the link provided in the message.
Marketing
We offer some Services free of charge, supported by customers who choose paid plans. If you register for our free Services, we may send you information about upgrades or related features where permissible. You can opt out at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email or updating the Preferences section in your account.
Who We Share Your Information With
We share Personal Data only as needed to provide or improve the Services and as described here. We do not share Personal Data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We use trusted third parties—such as providers of customer support, payment processing, hosting and IT services—to help us provide, improve, protect, and promote our Services. These third parties act on our behalf under written agreements and must use Personal Data only to support Optmyzr. For the current list of processors, see our Privacy FAQ.
Other users
Our Services may display basic information, such as your name, profile picture, device, and email address to other users in contexts like your user profile and sharing notifications. You may also share Your Content with others if you choose. When you register with an email address on a domain owned by your employer or organization, we may help collaborators and administrators find you and your team by making some of your basic information visible to other users on the same domain. This helps you sync up with others on your team and helps other users collaborate with you.
Certain features let you make additional information available to others. When you share Your Content with others through our Services that information has become public information. Optmyzr has no control over how your Personal Data will be used or disseminated by those with whom you share Your Content. To the extent you share Your Content in any publicly viewed area of our Services Your Content may be widely disseminated, including via search engines and other tools to locate information online (e.g., internet archive).
Other applications
You can give third-party providers access to your information and account—for example, via Optmyzr APIs. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
Disclosure for Legal and Safety Reasons.
We may disclose Personal Data to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government requests; to enforce our terms; or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Optmyzr, our users, or the public. In the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer Personal Data to the relevant third party.
Protection of Personal Data

Should you decide to subsequently reactivate your account, please note that after 30 days your information may be unrecoverable from our servers and backup latencies. We may retain limited information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
Cross-Border Information Transfers
To provide the Services, we may store, process, and transmit information in the United States and other countries. For EU/EEA, UK, and Swiss users, we use approved transfer mechanisms—such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK Addendum as applicable) or other lawful measures. We will reasonably cooperate with customers on any required Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) and supplementary measures.

Optmyzr, Inc. was previously self‑certified under the EU‑U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and maintains practices consistent with the successor EU‑U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF), the UK Extension, and the Swiss‑U.S. DPF. Although Optmyzr has not yet self‑certified, our practices are designed to align with the DPF Principles (Notice; Choice; Accountability for Onward Transfer; Security; Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation; Access; Recourse, Enforcement, and Liability). If Optmyzr elects to self‑certify, our certification will appear on the Data Privacy Framework List.

Our Services are not directed to or intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect or allow the submission of Personal Data from children under 13 years of age in the United States, or under the minimum age for consent established by applicable law in other jurisdictions (which may be up to 16 years in certain countries). If we learn that we have collected the Personal Data of a child under the applicable minimum age, we will take steps to delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe that their child may have provided information to us should contact us at privacy@optmyzr.com.

For individuals located in Canada, Optmyzr complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (“PIPEDA”) and applicable provincial privacy laws. You have the right to access and correct your Personal Information, withdraw consent to processing (subject to legal and contractual limits), and request deletion of your data. Compliance with Emerging Privacy Laws
We continuously monitor developments in global and U.S. privacy laws to ensure our practices remain current and compliant. Several U.S. state privacy laws are expanding in scope or taking effect in 2026, including updates to the Utah Consumer Privacy Act (“UCPA”) and the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (“OCPA”), which introduce new consumer rights and additional obligations related to opt-outs, geolocation data, and processing of children’s information.
Optmyzr will review and, where appropriate, update its data-handling practices and this Privacy Policy to reflect these and other future legal changes, including forthcoming regulations in other U.S. states and jurisdictions. We encourage users to check this page periodically for the latest version of our Privacy Policy.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the most current version on our website, and if a revision meaningfully reduces your rights, we will notify you in advance; when required by law.
