Optmyzr is an AI PPC analyst that lives inside Slack. It connects your Optmyzr account to your Slack workspace so you can ask questions about your Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta and Amazon accounts — and get performance answers, budget checks and anomaly alerts — without leaving Slack or opening a dashboard. It removes the constant tab-switching between chat and your ad platforms by bringing the answers to where your team already works.

**How do I install Optmyzr? Where is the “Add to Slack” button?**

You can install Optmyzr using any of the <strong>Sign in to add to Slack</strong> buttons on this page — for example, the one at the top of this page.<br><br><strong>You'll need an Optmyzr account first.</strong> The Slack integration is part of Optmyzr, so if you don't have an account yet, sign up at <a href='https://www.optmyzr.com/' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>optmyzr.com</a>. **How does Optmyzr work inside Slack? What triggers it?**

Optmyzr only responds when you ask it to — it does not read or post on its own. There are three ways it sends messages in Slack:<br><br>• <strong>@mention</strong> — tag <code>@Optmyzr</code> in any channel it has been invited to and ask a question; it replies in a thread on that message.<br>• <strong>/optmyzr slash command</strong> — type <code>/optmyzr</code> followed by your question for an instant answer in that channel.<br>• <strong>Direct messages</strong> — Optmyzr sends budget, performance and anomaly alerts straight to your DM, with one-tap actions to approve, snooze or escalate.<br><br>The bot responds only to the message that mentions it or invokes the slash command — it does not respond to other comments in the channel.

**How do I see what Optmyzr can do? Is there a help command?**

Yes. Type <code>/optmyzr help</code> in any channel — or send <code>help</code> in a direct message to the Optmyzr app — and Optmyzr replies with a quick guide covering the three ways to ask (slash command, @mention and DM) plus example questions you can try. It's the fastest way to get started or to remind yourself of what's possible without leaving Slack.

**Is Optmyzr powered by AI, and can its responses be inaccurate?**

Yes. Optmyzr uses OpenAI's ChatGPT (a large language model) to understand your questions and generate written answers. Like any generative-AI tool, it can occasionally produce responses that are inaccurate, incomplete, or that misread your intent. Treat Optmyzr's replies as a helpful starting point rather than guaranteed fact or financial advice — always confirm important numbers against your Optmyzr dashboards or the underlying ad platform before acting on them.

**Which AI models does Optmyzr use, and how is my data handled by them?**

Optmyzr uses OpenAI's <strong>GPT-5-class models</strong>. Your data is handled as follows:<br><br>• <strong>Secure processing</strong> — requests are sent to OpenAI securely over TLS and processed per request. OpenAI does <strong>not</strong> use API data to train its models.<br>• <strong>Tenancy &amp; isolation</strong> — Optmyzr enforces customer isolation, scoping every request to a single authenticated account.<br>• <strong>Retention</strong> — Optmyzr stores prompts and LLM responses in line with its customer retention policy and deletes them on request or on account termination. **How does Optmyzr store and secure my data?**

To answer your questions, Optmyzr processes the Slack identifiers and request details it needs (for example, the user and channel IDs included in a slash command or @mention) and returns Optmyzr data you already have access to. We protect that data as follows:<br><br>• <strong>Secure storage</strong> — data is stored only on approved servers with proper encryption in place, up-to-date software, and tightly restricted remote access.<br>• <strong>Data classification</strong> — data is classified by sensitivity (Critical, Restricted and Low-Risk). Sensitive data such as account and login information, advertising-account access tokens, performance data and billing details is treated as <em>Critical</em> and stored only on systems approved by our Data Protection Officer.<br>• <strong>Access controls</strong> — access to Critical data is granted only to approved individuals with a genuine business need, who must complete mandatory security training and use two-factor authentication.<br>• <strong>Retention</strong> — we keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service, and no longer than necessary unless a longer period is required by law.<br><br>Full details are in the <a href='https://www.optmyzr.com/information/privacy-policy/' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Optmyzr Privacy Policy</a> and our <a href='https://www.optmyzr.com/information/data-processor-agreement/' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Data Processing Agreement (DPA)</a>.

**How can I delete my data?**

You can remove your data in two ways:<br><br>• <strong>Disconnect Optmyzr</strong> — remove the integration from the <strong>Slack Management</strong> page in Optmyzr, or from Slack under <em>Settings → Manage apps</em>. This immediately stops Optmyzr from processing any further data from your workspace.<br>• <strong>Delete your account or request deletion</strong> — if you delete your Optmyzr account, your account information is generally deleted after 30 days, subject to legal holds and backup storage. You can also request deletion at any time by contacting us through our <a href='https://www.optmyzr.com/contact/' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>officially published support channels</a>.<br><br>Please note: there may be a short delay before data is fully removed from our servers and backups, and we may retain limited information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
